Sara Atkinson began taking yoga classes in early 2006, looking for relaxation and from that very first day, felt like she was home. Her practice has evolved from that initial intention, but solidified in the appreciation of the physical benefits, coupled with the mental and spiritual inspiration that has infused her with an internal strength, self-awareness and peace like she had never previously experienced. Her life has truly been transformed and she is exceedingly grateful for the opportunity to guide others on their own personal yogic experience. Sara believes that each of us, no matter how long we’ve been practicing, are and will always be practitioners because yoga is a life-long journey and a way of life. Yesterday, today and tomorrow may bring completely different, beautiful experiences both on and off the mat. When you open your heart and mind to possibility, you allow yourself to grow. Sara completed Yoga Fit Level 1 Teacher Training in January 2007, has attended workshops with Dharma Mittra and Deborah Williams (Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga) and will complete her 200-hr.
